Observation Of Clinical Efficacy Of Lian Bai Jiang Fu Decoction On Ulcerative Colitis In Cold And Heat Syndrome

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Lian Bai Jiang Fu Decoction in the treatment of mild active ulcerative colitis in cold and heat syndrome.To evaluate its efficacy and safety,comprehensive analysis of its strengths and weaknesses,thus to guide clinical medication and lay the foundation for further clinical and scientific research.Methods Randomized controlled trials were used,selected outpatient or inpatient mild active ulcerative colitis in line with clinical inclusion criteria.Patients were divided into 3 groups according to the random number table method,A group of 27 patients(western medicine control group)were treated with mesalazine,22 patients in group B(TCM treatment group)were treated with Lian Bai Jiang Fu Decoction,28 patients in group C(combination of Chinese and western medicine)were treated with mesalazine and Lian Bai Jiang Fu Decoction.Three groups of patients were 3 months as a course of treatment,observation of clinical efficacy after treatment.Efficacy evaluation:1)Clinical Symptom Evaluation:To compare the effectiveness of the main symptoms(including diarrhea,sepsis,abdominal pain)2)Endoscopic evaluation:The effective rate of intestinal mucosal healing by colonoscopy.The data were summarized by statistical analysis.Results 1)Clinical Symptom Evaluation:There was significant difference in the efficiency of group A,group B and group C(?2=6.22,P=0.045<0.05).There was significant difference between group C and group A(P = 0.014<0.017).2)Diarrhea:There was no statistically significant difference between the three groups(?2=0.35,P=0.84>0.05).3)Abdominal pain:The effective rate of the three groups were statistically significant(?2=9.46,P=0.009<0.05),there was significant difference between group B and group A(P = 0.002<0.017),but there was no significant difference between group C and group B(P>0.05)4)Colonoscopy efficacy comparison:There was significant difference between the three groups(?2 = 8.71,P =0.013<0.05).There was significant difference between group C and group A(P = 0.011<0.017),group C and group B(P=0.005<0.017).Conclusion The traditional Chinese medicine Lian Bai Jiang Fu decoction is effective to treat patients with mild ulcerative colitis,which can improve the symptoms and promote intestinal healing,and in combination with mesalazine can improve the induction of remission,and with no significant side effects.
