Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Homemade Eyebrows Growth-promoting Cream To Treat Sparse Eyebrows

Objective:Studing on clinical therapeutic effect of sparse eyebrows with the method of acupuncture combined with homemade eyebrows growth-promoting cream,in order to explore an effective way which stems from TCM to promote the growth of the eyebrows.Methods:We selected60samples of sparse eyebrows according to the standard,and we adopted and divided them into two groups randomly. For the treatment group with30cases, we applied acupuncture combined with the homemade eywborws growth-promoting cream treatment.For another30cases,the contrastive group,we applied no treatment. For each group, we set a period of30days and three periods in total.After the end of treatment, we measured the length of eyebrows.the eyebrows density as well as the the eyebrows diameter,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of treatment group.we also determinated the trace elements content in the eyebrows.to preliminary explore the mechanism of acupuncture combined with the homemade eyebrows growth-promoting cream to promote the growth of eyebrows.Results:After three courses of treatment,4cases were cured in the acupuncture combined with homemade eyebrows growth-promoting cream group, accounting for13.33%;13cases were markedly improved, accounting for43.33%;9cases were improved, accounting for30.0%:4cases had no effect, accounting for13.33%:The total effective rate of treatment group was86.67%,which is significantly better than that in the bland control group after the X2test(P <0.05);After treatment,the eyebrows length, the eyebrows density as well as the eyebrows diameter in the treatment group were all significantly greater than that in the blank group (P<0.05); There is a statistically significant difference in the content of copper,iron and calcium before and after the treatment in the treatment group (P<0.05),suggesting that acupuncture combined with homemade eyebrows growth-promoting cream promoted the eyebrows growth may relate to improve the content of trace elements in the eyebrows.Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with homemade eyebrows growth-promoting cream has a distinct curative effect on sparse eyebrows.Since it has the advantages of natural therapy, lasting effect, high safety, low recurrence rate and reasonable price, this method is worthy of further study and clinical promotion.
