Objective:to observe the clicinal effectiveness of the Leontopodium leontopodioides Moxibustion in the treatment of Primary Dysmenorrhea. To confirm the clinical effectiveness of the Leontopodium leontopodioides MoxibustionMethods:with the randomization, contrasted and single-blind research method, a total of90patients were devided into three groups. Every group had30cases. The treatment group was treated by the Leontopodium leontopodioides Moxibustion. When the dysmenorrheal happenes, it’s time to start the treatment, once per day, and three times totally. when the dysmenorrheal disappeared, the treatment would be stopped. The control group was treated by Yanhusuo painkiller tablets. The timing and the cycle of treatment are the same with the treatment group. The blank group was treated by nothing. The observe indicators:Strength of the abdominal pain、 The frequency of abdominal pain, the continuance of abdominal pain、the degree of ease of abdominal pain.Results:1:The comprehensive effectiveness:in the treatment group,21cases were recovery,6cases were markedly effective,1case was effective, and1case was invalid. The recovery and significantly effective rate was93.1%,and rate of total efficiency was96.6%.In the control group,15cases were recovery,9cases were markedly effective,2cases were effective and3cases were invalid. The recovery and significantly effective rate was82.8%, and the rate of total efficiency was89.7%. In the blank group,10cases were recovery,7cases were markedly effective,5cases were effective, and8cases were invalid. The recovery and significantly effective rate was56.7%, and the rate of total efficiency was73.3%. By the two groups non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) test, the efficiency between treatment group and control group had no difference(P>0.05); the efficiency between treatment group and blank group had significant difference(P<0.05); the efficiency between control group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05).2:Dynamic changes of the Strength of the abdominal pain:by two groups non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) test, the Dynamic changes between treatment group and control group had no difference(P>0.05); the efficiency between treatment group and blank group had significant difference(P<0.05); the efficiency between control group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05).3. Dynamic changes of the frequency of abdominal pain:by two groups non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) test, the Dynamic changes between treatment group and control group had no difference(P>0.05); the efficiency between treatment group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05); the efficiency between control group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05).4. Dynamic changes of the continuance of abdominal pain:by two groups non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) test, the Dynamic changes between treatment group and control group had no difference (P>0.05); the efficiency between treatment group and blank group had significant difference(P<0.05); the efficiency between control group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05).5. Dynamic changes of the degree ease of abdominal pain:by two groups non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) test, the dynamic changes between treatment group and control group had no difference(P>0.05); the efficiency between treatment group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05); the efficiency between control group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05).6. Dynamic changes of the symptoms along with abdominal pain:by two groups non-parametric (Mann-Whitney) test, the dynamic changes between treatment group and control group had no difference(P>0.05); the efficiency between treatment group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05); the efficiency between control group and blank group had significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:the Leontopodium leontopodioides Moxibustion in the treatment of Primary Dysmenorrhea have the exact clicinal effectiveness.
