Objective: In the field of modern medicine, the common perception is that fever is dueto the damage of the body‘s before inflammation medium which is caused by a kind ofsynergy through the immune system and the nervous system which led a adaptive response ofthe central set-point temperature and body temperature up. Fever is a Common symptoms inclinical pediatrics. As a kind of innovation febrifuge, compared with traditional drug,chaihuangtuire liniment has a lot of advantage like convenient use and high adherence inpediatric, it has a huge development prospect in the future clinical application. This topicusing immunology experiment method, observe the antifebrile effect of chaihuangtuireliniment, and give a preliminary discussion of its mechanism of antifebrile effect. Our mainpurpose is to provide experiment basis for antipyretic fever treatment of external use oftraditional Chinese medicine.Methods: Randomly divided60clean level experimental rats,10in each group, into6groups, the normal control group, fever model group, the pediatric Chai Gui group,chaihuangtuire liniment high dose group, middle dose group and low dose group. Adopt themethod of subcutaneous injection of yeast suspension liquid, duplicate the rats’ fever model.Each group of rats was given the appropriate drugs respectively according to the scheduleddoses. Record the rats’ body temperature changes and TRI2of each group periodically.Calculate the maximum temperature changes. After the drug providing of2h, gather thehypothalamus tissues, detect the contents of the hypothalamus cAMP, comparing test andcalculate if there are any differences between each group.Results: Chaihuangtuire liniment can significantly reduce the heating temperature of thefebrile rats induced by yeast, adjust the degree of fever, shorten the heating time and ease theheating process of temperature fluctuations. It also can reduce fever animal models’hypothalamus cAMP levels and can give a obvious antifebrile effect.Conclusion: Chaihuangtuire liniment has antifebrile effect,and the antifebrile effect hasclosely related to the lower levels of the hypothalamus cAMP.
