Peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) have been used to clinicmassively. Consequently, side-effects gradually got a lot of publicity. Doctors andnurses come to pay close attention to problems that how to guaranteeing the patientsafty and bringing down the medical expense.Many domestic and intern scholars agree that the application of ultrasoundtechnique in PICC could improve one-time placement ratio and lower complicationrate. but, here is rare comparison about the ralations beteen different Hemostasis andPICC complication. Therefore,Our research make a comprehensive analysis on thebasis of260clinical cases. we the effect of index and long finger OppressingHemostasis, Non-oppression Hemostasis and Yunnan baiyao in PICC operation,Through this comparison, we Non-oppression Hemostasis and Yunnan baiyao canimprove one-time placement ratio and lower complication rate, facilitates thedevelopment of PICC in clinic.Objective: explore the application effect of in PICC operation, Non-oppression Hemostasis and Yunnan baiyao,instesd of index and long fingerOppressing Hemostasis, could reduce PICC complications.Methods:260patients who arrived at the hospital from May2011to January2013required to undergo PICC were divided to the experimental group (n=152)andcontrol group(n=108) according to they were in hospital in tine sequence, patients inexperimental group apply Non-oppression Hemostasis in PICC operation. Patientsin control group apply oppression Hemostasis.Results:Significant differences were observed among the rate of one-timeplacement,catheter related clot,mechanical phlebitis, placement time,patientcomfort level between the two groups(P<0.05). No differences were observedamong the amount of bleeding, between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:the application of Non-oppression Hemostasis and Yunnan baiyao inPICC operation can improve one-time placement, patient comfort level;reduceincidence of catheter related thrombosis, mechanical phlebitis,the amount of bleeding and placement time.
