The Clinical Analysis Of Interlocking Intramedullary Nail And Plate Internal Fixation Of Femoral Shaft Fractures

Objective: Differences and the efficacy of the treatment of femoral shaft fractures toexplore interlocking intramedullary nail and plate Internal fixed two internal fixationmethods.Methods: A retrospective analysis of the Shandong Provincial Hospital of TCM fromMarch2011to September2012,36patients were treated femoral shaft fractures in patientswith clinical data. Randomized sample of patients into the IIN treatment group of21patients, PIF treatment group,15cases. Corresponding internal fixation surgery. The resulting data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS17.0.Results:21patients with interlocking intramedullary nail fracture delayed union ornonunion.2patients with knee limited mobility of approximately0-100°, the patients hipflexion is limited to about0-90°1case of ipsilateral limb shortening of about11mm. Theefficacy results of the evaluation: excellent in15cases, good in5cases, excellent rate of95%.15patients with plate fixation patients incision infection,1case of fracture delayedunion and one cases of limb shortening approximately6mm,1case of limb shortening ofabout14mm. Two cases of knee disorders. The efficacy results of the evaluation: excellentin10cases, good in3cases, excellent rate of86%.Conclusion: Interlocking intramedullary nail in the treatment of a shorter operative time, less blood loss, fracture healing faster advantages in reducing postoperative infection,there is a certain advantage to promote recovery of limb function.
