Objective: To observe the effect of qing gan li qi huo xue fang on treatinghypertension and its safety.Methods: Sixty patients were divided into therapeutic group (30cases) and controlgroup (30cases) randomly. The patients of control group were given Metoprololsustained-release tablets,each time47.5mg,Once a day;The patients of therapeutic groupwere received Metoprolol sustained-release tablets and Chinese medicine,each medicinalpreparation water was fried two times would take juice400ml respectively, after the mix,altogether400ml sooner or later to divide. Treatment for6weeks. Clinical symptoms ofTCM and blood pressure were observed between pre and post treatmentResults: Clinical Symptom:Although scores of clinical symptoms of Chinesemedicine in both groups were improved markedly, Chinese medicine group’s scores werehigher than the control group (P<0.05).(2)Blood Pressure: Systolic blood pressure anddiastolic blood pressure of both groups after the treatments descended effectively than theblood pressures before treatments. The24h, day time and noct average BP of ABPM, SBPand DBP in both groups were evidently lowered. There was significant difference inantihypertensive efficacy between2groups (P<0.05) and in posttreatment clinicalsymptom effect (P<0.01).Conclusion: Through clinical observation, Decoction Chinese medicine have amodulatory role in hypertensive patients clinical symptoms and blood pressure,and it wasconfirmed to be feasible and safety preliminarily.
