| Objective: From the comprehensive point of tonifying spleen andeliminating phlegm,Promoting Qi and Activating Blood, clearing away heat andtoxic materials, to observe the therapeutic effect of ShenXiaHeJi decoctionto Carotid artery atherosclerosis and explore the mechanism. Methods:With thestandards of50patients with Carotid artery atherosclerosis were randomlydivided into treatment group(25cases) and the comparison group(25cases).Thetreatment group was given Aspirin Enteric-coated Tablets,AtorvastatinCalcium Tablets and ShenXiaHeJi decoction,the comparison group was givenAspirin Enteric-coated Tablets and Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets.Both weretreated for4weeks,then being compared with their Carotid artery plaquearea,Carotid intima-media thickness,hemorrheologic,blood coagulation andCRP before and after treatment.Results:The treatment of group can reduce theirCarotid artery plaque area and Carotid intima-media thickness(P<0.05).Inreducing LP(a),FIB and CRP,the treatment group is also better than thecomparison group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The ShenXiaHeJi decoction cansignificantly reduce their Carotid artery plaque area and Carotidintima-media thickness,and can drop LP(a),FIB and CRP. ShenXiaHeJi decoctioncan effectively treat Carotid artery atherosclerosis. |
