Efficacy Of The Treatment Of Carotid Artery Atherosclerosis Boxingtong Capsule

Objective:Observation Boxintong capsule treatment of carotid atherosclerosis on blood lipids, platelet aggregation, carotid artery thickness in clear efficacy and safety of its treatment of carotid atherosclerosis for clinical arterial atherosclerosis treatment improve to provide a new way.Methods:Wuhan First Hospital outpatient and cardiovascular wards confirmed by color Doppler in March2012, December2010,60cases of patients with carotid atherosclerosis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group (n=30), control group received simvastatin, aspirin enteric-coated tablet, the treatment group on the basis of the control group with Boxintong capsules orally for a total of12weeks. After treatment were compared to clinical efficacy, the patients were recorded before and after treatment serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein (HDL-C), platelet aggregation rate carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) of index changes. After the data obtained above and using SPSS software for statistical analysis to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:Treatment group28cases, TCM syndrome score is the total effective rate was78.57%; control group of27cases of TCM syndrome Hou points total effective rate was70.41%,(5cases due to incomplete data excluded) between the two groups compared to a significant difference(P<0.05); improve blood lipids and reduce platelet aggregation rate of the treatment group than the control group, the comparison between the two groups before treatment, no significant difference (P>0.05), treatment group, LDL levels decreased significantly (, P<0.05), with the control group after treatment comparison (P<0.05) have significantly with the difference; treatment group after treatment, platelet aggregation rate was significantly decreased, with the control group after treatment comparison (P<0.05), significant difference; treatmentthinning of treatment, carotid IMT, compared with the control group after treatment, a significant difference (P<0.05); Boxintong capsules security indicators test results showed no significant side effects and adverse reactions drug on the human body.Conclusions:Initially confirmed Boxintong capsule of carotid atherosclerosis in patients with good effect through the clinical trials, can significantly reduce carotid atherosclerosis in patients with low-density lipoprotein and platelet aggregation rate, and increased high density lipoprotein, andthinning, carotid IMT and clinical application of safe and effective.
