Clinic Study Of Xuanfei Zhuyu Huatan Method In Treatment Interstitial Lung Disease With The Type Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis

Objective:To discuss the therapeutic effect of the treatment and safety to Interstitial Lung Disease with Xuanfei zhuyu huatan method——San ao xiong ting combination.Methods:Divide the37patients with ILD (phlegm and blood stasis type) into group A and B according to that whether they are taking hormone when they first came. Group A including24patients who have been taking hormone and group B including13patients who never take hormone. Treat the24Patients in group A with san ao xiong ting combination besides hormone, and reduce the dosage of hormone gradually according to changes of patients’conditions. Treat the13Patients in group B with san ao xiong ting combination only. Both for3months. During the therapeutic period, observe and record the changes of the patients’symptoms and physical signs,changes of QOL of the patients, dyspnea degree, high resolution chest CT and resting oxygen saturation of both groups. Judge the efficacy difference between the2groups by analyzing the statistics data.Results:1. Quality of life:SGRQ scores and dyspnea degree after treatment are lower compared with that before treatment in both groups, P<0.05. There is no obvious differences between two groups.2. changes of the patients’symptoms and physical signs:The patients’ symptoms and physical signs scores are lower compare with that before treatment in both groups, P<0.05. There is no obvious differences between two groups.3.HRCT’s improvement:After treatment3patients’ HRCT condition are obviously improved compared with that before treatment,8patients’ HRCT condition are stable, and26patients’HRCT condition are no change. The total cure rate of which is29.73%. There is no obvious differences between two groups.4. Resting Oxygen Saturation:Resting oxygen saturation of both groups after treatment are higher compared with that before treatment, P<0.01. There is no obvious differences between two groups.5.The hormone beginning reduction time of group A is11.46days earlier compared with4weeks that recommended in2002Chinese Medical Association,"idiopathic pulmonary (interstitial) fibrosis in the diagnosis and treatment guidelines (draft)".The hormone reduction to half time is21.27days earlier compared with8weeks that recommended in guidelines.The hormone reduction to10mg time is46.54days earlier compared with3months that recommended in guidelines Patients in group B were given no hormone during the whole treatment process. There is no significant difference in efficacy between2groups.Conclusion:Xuanfei zhuyu huatan method can improve patients’main Symptom such as cough、expectoration、asthma, their lung function, their QOL and reduce Side effect caused by hoemone.The research about TCM efficacy in ILD is significant, and it deserves to be studied furher.
