The Investigation Of Inpatients’ Satisfaction Towards Nursing Service In Top Three Comprehensive Hospitals Of Changchun

Intention:Based on the survey of inpatients’ satisfaction towards nursing service in topthree comprehensive hospitals of Changchun, this paper tends to analyze the presentsituation of nursing service satisfaction and influencing factors. And needs andexpectations of patients towards nursing service will be studied and correspondingmeasures and strategies will be put forward. So it could be helpful to improve thelevel of nursing service, arouse the enthusiasm and initiative of nursing staff, alleviatethe contradiction between nurses and patients, and finally help to build a harmoniousrelationship between nurses and patients.Methodology:By means of literature research, the author will consult lots of related literaturesabout nursing quality and nursing service satisfaction, which will provide a referencefor the development of this research; By the method of questionnaire investigation,300questionnaires will be handed outin top three comprehensive hospitals ofChangchun. What’s more, research content of this paper mainly includes the basicinformation of inpatients, environment facilities of the involved hospital, serviceability of nursing stuff, health education, nursing culture, etc.Results:It is believed that the inpatients’ satisfaction towards nursing service is90.4%,and the factors, such as gender, age and income mainly influence inpatients’ generalevaluation (P<0.05). As for the survey of inpatients’ satisfaction towards environmentfacilities of involved hospitals, the highest satisfaction is93.9%, which mainly refersto the clear and considerable logos and signs. And the data is influenced by gender,age, education background and the number of being in hospital. While, the lowestsatisfaction is73.6%, which is the degree of comfort and cleanness of ward environment and facilities. And the result is affected by age and occupation (P<0.05),and the difference make its statistical significance.Concerning the survey of inpatients’ satisfaction towards nursing technology andprofessional knowledge, the highest satisfaction is finding and processing the changesof pathogenic condition in time(94.6%). And education background and monthlyincome are the main effect factors for above evaluation. However, the lowestsatisfaction is nursing technology(79.3%). And the influencing factors for evaluatingthe satisfaction of nursing technical operation are gender, education background andexperience in hospital. Gender is the main effect element for evaluating thesatisfaction of nursing operation process. The different is less than0.05, which hasstatistical significance.Regarding the survey of inpatients’ satisfaction towards health education, thehighest one is85.0%, that is, cautions before operation and drug, diet and return visitprecautions after leaving hospital. While, the lowest satisfaction is gaining relateddisease knowledge and health education materials,75.7%. And gender, educationbackground and occupation are the important influencing factors for the evaluation ofnurses’ cautions before operation satisfaction. About nurses’ precaution on test timeand attention after being in hospital, gender and education background are two vitalelements. Further, age and education background are still the effect factors for gainingrelated disease knowledge. The notification of attention on leaving hospital is affectedby age, gender and occupation. The different is less than0.05, which has statisticalsignificance.With respect to the survey of inpatients’ satisfaction to nursing culture, thehighest one is96.4%, which is the respect for patient’s privacy and informationsecurity. And the lowest one is that the nurse play special attention to the patient’sfeelings and psychological situation. During the survey, patient’s age and occupationare two decisive factor of this satisfaction of nursing appearance. For the satisfactionof nurse service attitude, gender and age are two influencing elements. And age is thevital factor to evaluate the satisfaction on whether the nurses give service timely. What’s more, age, education background, occupation and how to pay are importantinfluential points to evaluate the satisfaction on whether the nurse has good ability ofcommunication. Gender and occupation are two decisive factor of this satisfaction onwhether the nurse pay special attention to patient’s feelings. The different is less than0.05, which has statistical significance.Conclusion:The patient’s satisfaction to nursing service is the important standard to evaluatenursing quality and important means and effective measures to supervise the qualityof nursing service. It is discovered that the overall satisfaction of the patients tonursing service is90.4%, which is meet the qualified standard (90%) of Ministry ofHealth. During this research, the patients’ gender, age and monthly income is theoverall effect factors for the satisfaction evaluation. Based on the discoveredquestions, this paper will give some corresponding advice and suggestions from manyimportant aspects, such as improving hospital environment facilities and infrastructureconstruction, meeting the requirements of the patients, improving nursing technologyand professional knowledge skills, improving the ability of health education, meetingthe demand of the patient’s health, improving nursing cultural construction and so on.
