Objective: Now hypertension is one of the most common clinicaldiseases, and Chinese medicine divide it into four types, includinghyperactivity of liver yang, excessive accumulation of phlegm-dampness,hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency as well as deficiency ofboth yin and yang. With the improvement of living standard, TCMsyndromes of hypertension also undergo changes."Syndrome" is the mainbasis of traditional Chinese medicine and the establishment ofsyndrome diagnostic criteria can show clinical diagnosis reference.The purpose and significance of the research is a comprehensive studyof hypertension clinical syndrome type with different age and sexdistribution, to explore the distribution characteristics of mainsymptoms and signs of all types; filter out frequent symptoms andsigns as the reference diagnostic criteria; discuss to supplementhypertension syndrome diagnostic criteria; analyze clinical medicationrule of some physicians, to provide objective basis forstandardization, prevention and control principle and therapies ofclinical type of hypertension to make up for the traditionaldialectical method "sick syndrome" lack of different diseases with thesame disease, making "syndrome" more objective and quantitative and "syndrome" expression more complete and scientific; explore therelationship between hypertension and related pathogenic factors toprovide an objective basis for the prevention of the occurrence ofhypertension.Methods: This topic is proposed to collect, systemize and analyzerequired factors with questionnaires, clinical investigation and theextensive collection of typical cases.Results: with statistical analysis of hypertension clinicalinformation in Medical Records, analyze the proportion of each typeclinically; sort all syndrome symptoms and signs with frequencypercentage, conclude representive symptoms and signs, and supplementthe lack of clinical syndrome diagnostic criteria; provide someobjective basis for clinical syndromes classification; statisticallyanalyze pathogenic factors of hypertension; measure statisticallydistribution of hypertension types among patients with different age,gender etc..
