Literature Study On The Periwound Differentia-tion Of Chronic Leg Ulcer Based On Data Mining

Objective: To discover and arrange the contents related to chronic leg ulcer’speriwound differentiation from TCM surgical literature, and establish the periwounddifferentiation system of chronic leg ulcer. Methods: Based on collecting the literatureabout chronic leg ulcer’s differentiation, with the key point of periwound, the database wasestablished with Access software to explore the contents and law of chronic leg ulcer’speriwound differentiation by frenquency and cluster analysis. Results: The commonindexes and the relationship between the indexes and Yin-Yang Syndrome,Asthenia-Sthenia Syndrome, Cold-Heat Syndrome were obtained by the frequency analysisof contents of chronic leg ulcer’s periwound differentiation. Furthermore, by the clusteranalysis of the common indexes, the chronic leg ulcer’s periwound syndrome werecategorized3types, named downward of damp-heat syndrome, blood-stasis syndrome, anddeficiency of qi-blood with stasis syndrome. Also, the periwound differentiation system ofchronic leg ulcer was formed preliminarily. Conclusion: There are many hidden contentsof chronic leg ulcer’s periwound differentiation in the TCM surgical literature. Theperiwound differentiation system of chronic leg ulcer can be established by the datamining.
