Objective: Directed by the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and based on supervisor’sprevious clinic research, patients who suffer from Compensated Hepatitis B Cirrhosis(CHBC)were treated with Shugan Jianpi Huoxue Fang Jiajian, mixture for soothing live tonifying spleeninvigorate the circulation of blood, and we will observe the clinic effects by observing the changes ofpatients’ symptom and sign, liver function, liver fibrosis and color ultrasound B (inner diameter ofportal trunk, Spleen thickness) pre-and post-treatment, in order to explore an economical, safe andeffective treatment experience of CHBC, to provide reference for clinical.Methods: Select96qualified CHBC patients form the first afflicated hospital of Henancollage of TCM from April2011to November2011, and randomly separate them intotreatment group and control group evenly (48patients per group), to whom we offerantiviral treatment (According to association of liver disease learn branch, infection branchassociation of the prevention and control of Chronic Hepatitis B guide (2010edition)"inantiviral treatment recommendations). On the fundamental treatment, Shugan JianpiHuoxue Fang Jiajian, mixture for soothing liver tonifying spleen invigorate the circulationof blood are adopted (adjustable as symptom changes)(Rootof Chnese Thorowax,Atractylodes, Paeonia Lactiflora, Angelica Sinensis, Savia Miltiorrhiza, Rhizoma Cyperi,Fructus Aurantii, Carapax Amydae, Pangolin Scales). Add gentiana scabra bunge and radixscutellariae for those who feel bitter taste in mouth, add Yuanhu, szechwan chinaberry fruitfor those who suffer obvious rib pains, add cortex magnoliaeoffinalis and atractylodeslancea to abdominal distention patinents and add yujin and curcuma longa to those whoappear purple color on the tongue. Biejia jianwan are adopted on control group (producedby Wuhan Zhonglian Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.)3-month period of treatmentrespectively and cease to use antagonist and coordination drugs while treating. There wasnot case loss and follow-up tracking at the end of the treatment. Inspect the ALT, AST, ALB, A/G, HA, PⅢNP, CⅣ, LN level of blood serum pre and after treatment, check andobserve the changes of color ultrasound B (inner diameter of portal trunk, Spleenthickness), and record the clinic symptom changes as well.Results:1. In the treatment group of48patients,23cases were markedly effective,20cases were effective and5cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was89.50%; thatwere14cases,20cases,14cases and70.83%respectively in the control group. It showedhave statistical significance between groups (P<0.05).2. After treatment, the scores of symptoms were decreased significantly in bothgroups (P<0.05), it showed have statistical significance between groups (P<0.05).3. After treatment, the levels of ALT,AST were decreased have statistical significancein both groups (P<0.05), and it showed have statistical significance between groups(P<0.05).4. After treatment, the levels of ALB,A/G were risen have statistical significance inboth groups (P<0.05), and it showed have statistical significance between groups (P<0.05).5. After treatment, the levels of HA,PⅢNP,CⅣ were decreased have statisticalsignificance in both groups (P<0.05), and the levels of HA and PⅢNP were showed havestatistical significance between groups (P<0.05), but the level of LN was showed nostatistical significance between the before and after treatment and the both groups(P>0.05).6. After treatment, the inner diameter of the portal vein and the thickness of the spleenwere decreased significantly in bath groups (P<0.05), and the levels of the inner diameterof the portal vein were showed have statistical significance between groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The curative effect on CHBC by Shugan Jianpi Huoxue therapy is betterthan that of the control group.2. Shugan Jianpi Huoxue Fang, mixture for soothing live tonifying spleen invigoratethe circulation of blood can reduce serum ALT,AST levels, improve ALB,A/G level,improve liver function of the CHBC patients.3. Shugan Jianpi Huoxue Fang, mixture for soothing live tonifying spleen invigoratethe circulation of blood can reduce HA,PⅢNP,CⅣ levels, improve liver fibrosis of theCHBC patients.4. Shugan Jianpi Huoxue Fang, mixture for soothing live tonifying spleen invigoratethe circulation of blood can reduce the inner diameter of the portal vein and the thicknessof the spleen, improve the performance of the liver imaging.5. Shugan Jianpi Huoxue Fang, mixture for soothing live tonifying spleen invigorate the circulation of blood is a effective way for the treatment of CHBC. Its mechanism mayrelated to the inhibition of liver inflammation, protect the liver cells and restore liverfunction, improve liver fibrosis, lower the inner diameter of the portal vein and thethickness of the spleen.
