Objective: To observe the effect of neuritin on Promoting Fracture in SD-rats by localinjection of neuritin, to explore new drug intervention for nonunion and bone defects inclinical treatment.Method:96healthy SD rats were randomly divided into experimental and control group,72cases for experimental group and24cases for control group. All animals weremanufactured to fracture model through braking right middle femur by intramedullaryretrograde Kirschner wire fixation.Control group had no special handling. Experimentalgroups, namely group A、group B、group C,were respectively given daily gavage0.1μm/L、0.05μm/L、0.025μm/L neuritin treatment, respectively1-week,2-week,3-week rats werekilled, taking X-ray, and surveying callus volume, manufacturing pathological section.Datawere analyzed using Student’s t-test and expressed as the mean±SEM. P <0.05wasconsidered statistically significant.Result: Specimens observation and X-ray shows: the experimental groups compared withthe control group, fracture healing callus ossification rate content and there were significantdifferences, were significantly faster than the control group (P <0.05);And,group A wassignificantly faster than group C (P <0.05); Callus volume measurement shows: theexperimental group compared with the control group, callus volume were significant differentand significantly larger than the control group (P <0.05);And,,group A was significantly largerthan group C (P <0.05); HE staining showed that: the experimental group in each groupappears early granulation tissue fibrosis, the cartilage cells, bone cells of the same point intime, were significantly more than the control group (P <0.05).And between group A andgroup B、group B and group C, there were significant differences (P <0.05).Conclusion: Local injection of neuritin could increase the callus content and the speedof callus ossification.
