| This dissertation is composed of three chapters. The first chapter studied the isolation andidentification of compounds from Psammosilene tunicoides. The second chapter included the isolation andidentification of compounds from Ainsliaea bonatii Beauvs, and studied the antioxidant, anti-bacteria andcoagulant activity of A. bonatii. The third chapter summarized the progress of chemical constituent andpharmaceutical activity of P. tunicoides.Chapter1. The chemical constituents of Psammosilene tunicoidesThe chemical constituents from the P. tunicoides were studied by column chromatography. Sevencompounds were isolated and identified as1-acetyl-3-methoxycarbonyl-4-hydroxyl-β-carboline (PT-1),α-spinasterol (PT-2),16-isoquillaic acid (PT-3),1-acetyl-3-methoxycarbonyl-β-carboline (PT-4),gypsogenin (PT-5),-spinasterol-3-O-β-D-glucoside (PT-6), β-daucosterol (PT-8). Compounds PT-1, PT-4and PT-6were isolated from this plant for the first time. Compound PT-1was new compound.Chapter2. The biological activity of Ainsliaea bonatii BeauvsThe chemical constituents from the A. bonatii were studied by column chromatography.7compounds were isolated and identified as taraxasterol (1), β-sitosterol (2), nodakenetin (3),1,4-benzenediol (4), daphnetin (5), apigenin (6), β-arbutin (7). Compounds15and7were isolated fromthis plant for the first time. Compounds1and35were isolated from A. bonatii genus for the first time.DPPH, ABTS and FRAP assays were used to stydy the antioxidant activity of A. bonatii. Thestudy discovered that EtOAC extract (IC-150=8.66μg· mL) showed better DPPH radical scavenging activity, and higher than that of BHT (IC50=18.79μg· mL-1) as positive control, n-BuOH extract showedhigher ABTS radical scavenging activity (IC50=5.83μg· mL-1) than that of BHT (IC50=7.22μg· mL-1),EtOAC extract (TEAC=1241.8μmol· g-1) for the reduction of Fe3+ability was stronger.1,4-benzenediol(IC50=3.67μg· mL-1) and daphnetin (IC50=4.48μg· mL-1) exhibited strong activity of scavenging DPPHradical, and higher than that of BHT (IC50=19.47μg· mL-1) and BHA (IC50=8.95μg· mL-1).Antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (SA), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcusaureus (MRSA) and β-lactamase positive Staphylococcus aureus (ESBLs-SA) of A. bonatii were assayed.1,4-benzenediol showed the biggest inhibitory zone of13mm,12mm and12mm against SA, MRSA andESBLs-SA. MIC showed1.6μg· disc-1,6.3μg· disc-1and3.2μg· disc-1, IC50showed SA (IC50=1.09mg· mL-1), MRSA (IC50=3.74mg· mL-1) and ESBLs-SA (IC50=0.07mg· mL-1).Coagulant activity of A. bonatii were assayed in vitro. Daphnetin and petroleum ether extractshowed anticoagulant effect. Nodakenetin,1,4-benzenediol, β-arbutin and EtOAC extract showed theprocoagulant effect.Chapter3.
