This thesis mainly includes two aspects: phytochemically investigation of the Psammosilene tunicoides W.C.Wu et C.Y.Wu(Caryophyllaceae) to gain referencesubstances for the quality standard of this species and phytochemically investigation and biological activity study of Macaranga adenantha Gagnep.(Euphorbiaceae) in order to better understand the chemical compositions and biological activities of such a plant. The results are as follows.1.The investigation on the chemical constituents of Psammosilene tunicoide s obtained 6 compounds: α-methyl-D-galactose(1), β-sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucoside(2), gypsogenin)(3), gypsogenin3-O-β-D-glucuronopyranoside(4), quillaic acid(5)and quillaic acid 3-O-β-D-glucuronopyranoside(6).2.The study on the chemical constituents of Macaranga adenantha Gagnep.obtained 6 compounds: Macadenanthin A(7), Macadenanthin B(8), Macadenanthin C(9), Glyasperin A(10), Broussoflavonol F(11) and Macarangin(12). The compound7-9 had different degrees of inhibition effect on human breast cancer cell line(MCF-7),hepatocellular carcinoma(Hep G2), human cervical carcinoma(He La) and murine leukemia(P388).From the investigation, we can conclude that the compounds of 3 、 5 and 6,sharing oleanane skeleton, can be considered as reference substances of the fingerprint and the determinination of effective parts of Psammosilene tunicoides.Compounds 1 and 4 have been obtained from the Psammosilene genus for the first time. Compounds 7-9, which can inhibit cancer cell biological activity, are new compounds from Macaranga adenantha. Compounds 7-12, having prenylated flavonoid skeleton, have been obtained from this species for the first time.
