[Objective] To investigate the expression levels of Skp2and P27in the pleomorphic adenoma and adenoid cystic carcinoma of larcrimal gland,analyse relationship between above biological remarks and recurrence or prognosis in the pleomorphic adenoma and adenoid cystic carcinoma of larcrimal gland and to discuss their effect mechanism in occrence of these tumors.[Methods] The ozokerite type of40cases pleomorphic adenoma and40cases adenoid cystic carcinoma from the second hospital of Tianjin medical university.All the specimens were divided into two groups of primary group and recurrence group.,and divideded adnoid cystic carcinoma into solid pattern and adnoid-tubular pattern according to the pattern of organization.The expression of Skp2and P27in lacrimal benign,malignant tumors were analyzed by two stages methods of immunohistochemical staining,5cases of normal lacrimal gland tissues were usded as contrl.Statistical analyses were performed wih SPSS18.0.[Results]1.The overall positive rate of Skp2in pleomorphic adenoma of lacrimal gland was42.5%,the rate of group primary was42.9%,the rate of group recurrence was71.4%, which were significantly higher than that in the normal lacrimal gland(p<0.05),the differences between group primary and group recurrence were not significant(p>0.05). The overall positive rate of Skp2in adenoid cystic carcinomaof lacrimal gland was70.0%,the rate of group primary was52.6%,the rate of group recurrence was85.7%, which were also significantly higher than that in the normal lacrimal gland,the differences between group primary and group recurrence were statistically significant(p<0.05), the differences between group solid pattern and group adnoid-tubular pattern were statistically not significant(p>0.05).2. The overall positive rate of P27in pleomorphic adenoma of lacrimal gland was65.0%,the rate of group primary was84.2%,the rate of group recurrence was47.6%, which were significantly lower than that in the normal lacrimal gland,the differences between group primary and group recurrence were statistically significant(p<0.05). The overall positive rate of P27in adenoid cystic carcinoma of lacrimal gland was42.5%,the rate of group primary was63.2%,the rate of group recurrence was19.1%, which were also significantly lower than that in the normal lacrimal gland,the differences between group primary and group recurrence were statistically significant(p<0.05), the differences between group solid pattern and group adnoid-tubular pattern were also statistically significant(p<0.05).[Conclusions] Our results show that Skp2and P27play an important role in the generation and developing of lacrimal lacrimal gland epithelial tumors, Skp2may has potential carcinogenicity and promots the malignant change of lacrimal gland epithelial tumors.P27may participate the generation and developing of the lacrimal gland tumors,and be a tumor marker of auxiliary immunity which can identify malignant from benign lacrimal gland epithelial tumors and propt the prognosis of tumors. Therefore, Skp2and P27may become the valuable biological markersction in further realization the generation and developing of lacrimal gland epithelial tumors.
