Comparison of "Knee Joint Function Assessment"After treatment, comparing the score before treatment, all indexes score except swelling one were significantly improved (P<0.05) in each group and between two groups.3. Comparison of time to finish FTSSTAfter treatment, comparing the score before treatment, the time used to finish FTSST was significantly shorter (P<0.05) in each group and between two groups.4. Comparison of the content of IL-1of injured knee jointAfter treatment, comparing the score before treatment, the content of IL-1of knee joint was significantly reduced(P<0.05) in each group and between two groups.Conclusion1. The two different methods used in two different groups are significantly effective to patients with KOA. Acupuncturing points on elbow joint correspond to knee-joint is better than acupuncturing points around injured knee joint to patients with KOA.2. IL-1may be very much related to the effect of both methods. IL-1may be used as an index to estimate the effectiveness of both methods.
