Objective: To evaluate the quality of life(QOL)of tic disorder (TD) children. Toanalyze the features of TD children life quality in different clinical condition. Toexplore the influencing factors of TD children life quality.Method: The TD group has72children (including48TD children,24TD+ADHD children). The control group has47healthy children. All the childrenanswered general situation questionnaire, the Inventory of Subjective Lifequality(ISLQ), the child behavior checklist (CBCL). The survey results have beenanalyzed by the chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis H test,Pearson/Spearman correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis withSPSS18.0package.Result:①The score of children in TD group was lower than the children incontrol group on the survey of school life, anxiety experience, physical emotion, cognitive component, emotional component and overall satisfaction. The differencewas statistically significant(P﹤0.05).②Male TD children’s score on survey of schoollife, cognitive component was lower than female. The difference was statisticallysignificant(P﹤0.05). However, the female TD children’s score on anxiety experiencewas lower than male. The difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).③TD+ADHD children’s overall satisfaction of life quality was lower than the childrenin TD group. The difference was also statistically significant(P﹤0.05).④In differentclinical classifications and severity, there was no statistical difference on anydimension, component, and overall satisfaction score.⑤Age and physical emotionwas negative correlated. Course of disease and school life was negative correlated.CBCL internalizing have a negative correlation with family life, school life, livingenvironment, depressive experiences, cognition component, emotion component andoverall satisfaction. CBCL externalizing have a negative correlation with living environment, emotion component and overall satisfaction. CBCL total score have anegative correlation with school life, living environment, depressive experiences, anxiety experience, emotion component and overall satisfaction.⑥The scores of TDchildren’s overall satisfaction has been put in multiple linear regression analysis. Theresult was statistically significant(P﹤0.05) and show that the actors of entering into theregression equation were whether TD children has ADHD or not, and CBCLInternalizing. Conclusion: TD children’s life quality was lower than healthy children in part ofdimension, cognitive component, emotional component, and overall satisfaction. Indifferent sex and TD combined with ADHD or not, they have varying life quality. Indifferent clinical classifications and severity, there was no statistical difference. TDchildren’s CBCL was correlated with life quality of many dimension, cognitivecomponent, emotional component, and overall satisfaction. For the life quality of TDchildren the main influencing factors were CBCL internalizing, TD combined withADHD or not.
