Exploration Of Urban Complex Time-space Compression Characteristics And Planning Strategy

At present, China’s urban complex construction boom is not an accidental phenomenon, its time-space organization influenced by urban economic development environment, it is a response to tightening urban land intensive policy, and it is the city public multivariate life of new demand. Since2006, the urban complex as a new form of space structure has grown in large numbers in many cities, has broken the single business pattern, reshaping the city’s social life, changed the traditional relationship between the city and the traditional architecture. However, the urban complex lack of experience in the planning and operation management stage, that lead to many problems, such as project failure, architecture’s mass imbalance and planning out of control. Therefore, research on the urban complex spatiotemporal organization inherent in "social-environment" comprehensive dialectical law, what has enlightenment meaning to clarify comprehensiveness in the process of planning, and guide the planning paradigm timely updates.This paper mainly in the perspective of urban planning, through access to domestic and foreign-related cases, and survey data at Jinan, Shenzhen, Beijing and other cities, then select the typical case for demonstration. Start with the conception of urban complex and time-space compression, analyze the dynamic mechanism and evolution process of urban complex, as well as the connotation and causes of time-space compression. Further, based on the theory of space-time compression, analyze space and time compression characteristics from three aspects that characteristic appearance, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic, Pointed out that relations between urban complex and urban spatial structure, environmental systems, culture, as well as give people a new experience of time-space compression. Combined with the analysis of characteristics, reflect problems and difficulties on urban complex’s planning and design, proposed planning and design principles from function, structure and form. Finally, the use of regulatory detailed planning for the technical means, combined with cases, proposed the feasibility of planning technology and operation strategy for the urban complex.
