Wind energy resources are rich in our country. In the past ten years, the wind turbine industry got rapid development, but at the same time, the safety accidents happened in wind turbine also increased year by year. In addition, most wind turbines are located in remote area or sea shore, fire inside the turbine cabin may cause huge losses. To solve the problem of fire control for wind turbine, we developed a fire detection and protection system based on the embedded AVR computer and remote monitoring technology. The temperature, smoke and picture signals were acquired and ultrafine powder distinguisher were controlled to prevent fire. RS485and fiber net were used to construct the automatic distinguisher network in wind generators. The experiment results showed the good performance to meet the aim of fire control of wind turbines.First of all, this thesis illustrates the research background, significance and source topics. Then, it introduces the research situation about fire technology, fire control system of wind turbine generator at home and abroad. At last, we get adequate theoretical fundations to study and design the automatic fire control system, which applied to wind generators and based on AVR single chip microcomputer. On basis of it, the paper puts forward overall design of the system:including upper machine design and lower machine design.Second, the paper designed the system hardware circuit and software program of lower machine in detail. In the aspect of hardware, this paper designed a power supply circuit, clock and reset circuit, interface circuit of simulation, accessing circuit of the digital sensors, access circuit of the temperature and humidity transmitter, RS485communication interface circuit, access circuit of the serial camera etc. According to principle of each module of the circuit, this paper designs the circuit diagram, Finally according to the relationship between each module circuit, the paper designs the schematic diagram and PCB diagram, completes circuit board production of the system hardware; In the aspect of software, this paper designs the system initialization program, A/D sampling procedure, program of fire control, system’s serial communication program between lower machine and PC. Application work flow charts and part of program codes about every module are given in this thesis. Thirdly, with Visual Studio2010based on C#as PC software development tools, this paper develops automatic fire control system software for wind turbines on the PC of upper machine, and applies the SQL Server2008as backend database, making use of ADO.NET technology to achieve access to the database operation.Finally, taking the simulated scene environment as experimental object, this paper has made some researches on the developed system for debugging applications. By taking advantage of the system hardware, we can carry on temperature humidity detecting and video monitoring. At the same time, we can also test and verify the function of each part of the designed system to meet the demands of high reliability, high stability and trouble-free at real live environment. After debugging applications and long continuous running, it is verified that system developed in this paper is effective and successful.
