Fire accidents happened in wind turbine have the characteristics of causing huge economic loss and making firefighting and personnel escape difficult.In recent years,with the high-speed development of wind power industry,fire accidents happened in wind turbine shows an increasing trend,which brings huge economic losses to the Power Enterprises.The paper takes Vestas V90 unit as the research object,carrying out proposal selection,technical design,testing and application research of the wind turbine automatic fire control system.The main research work and accomplishments are as follows.(1)Based on current research about wind turbine fire control system at home and abroad and fire characteristics analysis,the paper explicitly describes root causes of the fire accident of the wind turbine.Taking Vestas V90 unit as research object,the structure and hidden-danger parts of doubly-fed wind turbine and combustible materials are analyzed in this paper,at the same time,environmental requirements and technical indicators of the wind turbine fire protection system are defined.(2)Carrying out the analysis on fire extinguishing system of the wind turbine,the fire detection system,the fire linkage system and the centralized monitoring system,thereby,the fire compartment of Veastas V90 unit is divided.Through the fire extinguishing performance test,the reliability,fire extinguishment effectiveness and safety of S-type aerosol product has been verified.S-type aerosol is proved to be suitable for fire extinguishing system of Vestas V90 unit.(3)Through the selection of fire extinguishing material,fire detection and alarm device,fire linkage system and centralized monitoring system of automatic fire protection system of wind turbine,this paper has designed a technical scheme about fire extinguishing system,fire detection and fire linkage system pf Vestas V90.The paper carried out dosing calculation to eight fire compartments and proved that this system has the functions to detect fire temperature,smoke and light of fire,and equipped with lightning protection and anti suffocation measures.(4)By carrying out simulated fire extinguishing test of S-type hot aerosol automaticfire control system in real cabin,the result shows that the S-type hot aerosol has a good fire extinguishing effect and fire extinguishing concentration is 100 g / m~3.Under the condition of ventilation and non-ventilation in simulated cabin,fire of Class B type of gasoline can be extinguished within 30 seconds when hot aerosol fire extinguishing device is deployed.The rubber fire can extinguish the open fire within 60 seconds and prevented reignition in ventilation condition after 10 minutes.(5)The application of Wind Turbine Auto Fire Control System shows that the overall risk of the cabin is reduced and the fire emergency capability is greatly improved.As a result,the probability of fires in surrounding forest farms and prairies is reduced.
