In recent years, the national has a death occurred more than10serious road traffic accidents. These accidents occurred mainly in the long-distance bus. WHO use "road traffic safety" as the theme in June15,2009,and released the "road safety" global status report, which displays that there are more than1200000people died in traffic accidents each year, of which90%occurred in low and middle income countries. Chinese as the biggest developing country, is also facing the severe situation of traffic safety management. In recent years, the rapid development of China’s national economy, urban traffic activity is increasingly frequent, but road traffic safety situation gradually deteriorated, so we choose traffic safety management must as the subject of study.In order to eliminate and reduce the casualties of long-distance transport,we must improve the management level of technology related long transport inspection,in addition to strengthen safety consciousness long transport drivers. At present, our sociaty has established a manual inspection mechanism in various inter provincial long-distance passenger checkpoint, the driver information and related information of the vehicle passing by artificial registration. There are hundreds and hundreds of cars for every day, which increases considerable workload for the inspectors. In nowadays people pursuit convenience and efficiency, so the application of information management system for traffic safety management has become an inevitable trend. Using long distance passenger transport traffic safety management information system has become an inevitable result.This paper first introduces the current situation of domestic and foreign road traffic safety, and makes a preliminary research of road traffic safety,it finds out the existed problems, and researches the road traffic safety management. System is based on.Net,and uses Windows CE interface.This System uses RFID which makes it covenient and efficient.Meanwhile,it can connect to management information system, which makes the inquiry become easy.
