The existence of rural, development of agriculture, farmers’survival all depend on Water Resources. In rural areas, adequate and safe water is an important issue related to the basic living of rural residents and agricultural production. But now some of China’s Water Resources development and utilization in rural areas because of the lack of deployment of its overall system optimization, protection and prevention measures, led to the phenomenon of water problems, in some areas, Water Resources even devastating damage. Once destroyed Water Resources, and the lack of effective protection, not only damages the real interests of local people, but also related to the long-term development of the village. To this end, to discuss the protection of Water Resources in rural areas have a strong practical significance. This paper selected a area to study rural water problem unlike engineering, physical geography, biochemistry, to explore the protection of water resources in rural areas of mineral development from political science. In this study, the study object is the protection of water resources in rural areas, current Water Resources destroyed in rural areas because of the mining process; Impact on the local environment, living, village economy arising after the destruction Water Resources; the reasons of Water Resources mineral development area of the village can not be effectively protected; Explore measures for the effective protection Water Resources in rural areas of the mine.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter, introduction. Introduces the research background and significance, and summarize relevant research, research methods, ideas and frameworks, concepts and issues analysis. The second chapter, an overview of water situation in D village. Mainly introduces the basic overview of the village of cases, D village industrial structure changes, water changes and the impact on the village’s history. Providing basic case for the thesis writing by describing the depletion Water Resources from nearby villages appeared mining villages. The third chapter, analysis the impact factor in the current rural water protection, in our country, current water rights system is not perfect, the water affect the basic rights of citizens to maintain local protectionism became the umbrella of polluting industries, hindering local water protection; grassroots self-government ineffective, influence the village collective to protect water resources; Water management institutional deficiencies and poor,impact Water Resources management in rural areas. The fourth chapter explores countermeasures to protect water resources in rural areas. Including a sound legal system, to play the role of village self-government environmental organizations, improve water resources management system, establish a concept of sustainable development and so on. Finally, conclusion of the above description and summary and analysis for further improvement, discuss the protection of groundwater resources in rural areas, and looking to the future.
