The Research On Lightning Protection Of Mining Power Grid In Jiaomei Coal Industry

Coal mine electric power network as a source of power for coal mining operations in mine,with the amazing race to expand of the mining production and scale,a safety and reliability network is very important. In recent years, the lightning stroke fault of mine electric power network is increasing and become the important security and economic threat to the coal mining enterprises, it is attracted the gradually highlight attention of these enterprises, To ensure mine safe operations,the coal mining enterprise think the key of lightning protection in mine electric power network is improve power supply reliablity.This paper take the Shanxi Jiaomei Coal Group Mining Area as an example, make the lightning research to key nodes of the coal mining enterprises(E.g. substation, wind the engine room and gas drainage station).This paper takes an accident about two main transformers were damaged in the HOkV substation from Jiaomei Coal Group Fenxi Mining Area as the entry point,through on-site field research about lightning characteristics in mining areas, mine electric power network using measures about lightning protection and lightning incidents in these ares.At the same time, the research team have a field test of substation gets mine substation data indicators and take line insulators test analysis in high voltage laboratory gets the lightning withstand level of field lines and insulators for electrical characteristics data. Based on these reliable data on lightning issues of mine electric power network analysis, the research team identify the root causes of the problem, such as:the level of insulation no match, the protect equipment use and installation problems and the excessive voltage about impulse local.According to these problems about lightning protection of Jiaomei Coal Group Mining Area, the research team presents measures of lightning protection alteration about transformer substation of mining area,mine power lines, wind turbine engine room,direct distribution lines and the gas station. Are mainly as follows:the circuit optimization settings for shock protection, the substation grounding grid reconstruction,the new lightning protection alteration of Watts pumping station and the refinement lightning protection of wind room’s direct distribution line and so on.Presented in this paper of mine electric power network reconstruction measures in Jiaomei Coal Group Fenxi Mining Area is the modification.After a year of practice runs proved that the reform have reached the expected objectives set, lightning protection alteration is good and no equipment damaged by lightning accidents have occurred in mining areas.
