Research On Coordination Management Among Different Participants In Construction Stage

In recent years, domestic construction projects are becoming lager and morecomplicated, which places more demands on the Project Management. With thebooming of industry and economy, the theory of Coordination Managementoriginated from industrial enterprises is drawing more attention. The nature ofcoordination proposed in the industrial revolution is to pursue a state of closecooperation among different groups and individuals in an organization aiming at aspecific objective. In the entire life cycle of construction project, there are dozens ofparticipants concerned with the construction stage; as a result the cooperationrelationship always goes into complexity and the Coordination Management difficulty,which might block the project’s accomplishment. So it’s necessary to study theapplication of Coordination Management to Construction Project Management.On the basis of stating and analyzing overseas and domestic research status, thepaper presents its start point and object firstly. That is, from the owners’point of view,establishing a Coordination Management System to resolve the coordination problemamong different participants by applying the theory of Coordination Management.This paper states the Theory of Project Organization Management, StakeholderTheory and the Theory of Coordination Management. After that, it defines therelationship among participants, and analyzes the relationship under different projectmanagement mode and management organization structure.Under the directions of the theoretical bases above, the paper puts forward amethod by which we can ascertain the relationship among different participantscontaining a series of steps: project management mode and management organizationstructure choosing, construction structure breakdown, project contract structure,project workflow. So we can establish a Coordination Management System forparticipants involved in construction stage. Then the paper builds aFuzzy SyntheticEvaluation Model by combining Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy SyntheticEvaluation to evaluate the effect of Coordination Management. Finally, taken a real estate development project as an example, the paper puts theCoordination Management System into use, and evaluates the effect of CoordinationManagement further, which tests and verifies the feasibility and practicability of theCoordination Management System and Synthetic Evaluation Model.
