With the high rapid development of economy in China, the country also experiencesquick economic development, and at the same time faces the risks of fire disasters at the sametime. Therefore, it has very important significance to study the problem in rural fire controlsafety planning so as to enhance the preventive ability, to reduce the losses in the fire incountryside, to ensure the rural fire control safety and to protect people’s safety of life andproperty. In recent years, in the Pearl River delta region where economy is quite developed,the rural fire control safety has received the high degree of attention of the local government,but there are still many problems in solving the rural fire control safety for a lack of relevantreferences. It is very important to study the solution of the key problems in the rural firecontrol safety and to optimize the resource distribution of fire control resources in thecountryside in a scientific and reasonable way.On the basis of the investigation and survey of the relevant literature, this paper makes aresearch on the problems of fire control resource distribution in the rural fire control safetyplanning through the methods such as theoretical analysis, model construction, questionnairesurvey and case study.Firstly, on the basis of investigating a large amount of literature and asking for theexperts’ advice, we define the appraisal system of fire extinction ability of the fire station,including personnel, equipment and fighting ability; we also make use of AHP and DARE,and invite experts to grade so as to identify the index weight and to build appraisal model.Secondly, this paper also takes the rural fire station and standard normal fire station intoconsideration, comprehensively considers the fire extinction ability factors and theenvironmental factors that can weaken the extinction ability of fire stations, and thendetermines the fire station distribution based on the entropy weight TOPSIS; after clusterclassification of the index factors, we work out the Euclidean distance through Matlab7.0program and define the advantages and disadvantages of fire station distribution.At last, the paper selects the Guicheng street in Nanhai District of Foshan City as anexample to make calculation, and after on-the-spot investigation and expert survey, calculateall the indexes with values through the built calculation model in this paper, to gain theoptimized plan of rural fire control resource distribution.
