Study On Detailed Design For Prefabricated Construction

With the fast development and improvement of architectural technology andconstructional materials, prefabricated construction has already been applied widely. Inmany counties with developed building industrialization, the technique of prefabricatedconstruction have developed very completed and perfected with a long period ofexperiments and applications, so that the current technology of prefabricated constructioncould achieve kinds of constructional functions, in the meanwhile, make the delicate formsand structural members.In our county, China has already started to pay more attention to the application anddevelopment of prefabricated construction, because it’s necessary to develop it for meetingthe needs of fast buildings. However, the developing technology of prefabricatedconstruction is still at the starting stage with introducing and learning. At present, itsapplication was mainly focused on industrial factory building and demonstrated residentialhouses, but the built products were very rough with only considering the structuraltechnique rather than other designing elements. In the meanwhile, there is less explorationand practice on fine and meticulous design, so it’s not an advantage for the long-termdevelopment of prefabricated construction.Therefore, the paper reviewed the national and international studies of prefabricatedconstruction and introduced the historical origin and development. In the meanwhile, thestudy concluded the basic design principle and classified method. In addition, we alsoanalyzed four elements of meticulous design in prefabricated construction, includingelement design, space flexibility, environmental suitability and installation strategy.Finally, we introduced the case study on the architectural complex of prefabricatedconstruction in Viridian five-stars hotel of Australia and made the analysis through the concluded design principle and four element of meticulous design, and finally furthered toconclude the concept of meticulous design in prefabricated construction.
