Abstract/Summary:
Metal rubber is metal component with elastic forming from abundant wire which hasbeen woven and twined. It is widely used in aviation, aerospace, ship and many otherengineering fields due to its excellent performance such as bad environment adaptability andhigh designability, vibration damping and noise reduction, liquid and gas insulation etc. Sincethe advent of this new material, considerable researches have been done by domestic andforeign scholars. But the achievement can’t be common use for the differences of manufactureand parameters by each group. Therefore, in this study, the absorbera and sealing ring ofmetal rubber have been completion with detailed introduction. At the same time, combine thepractical problems that may appear in the manufacturing or testing process and put forwardthe specific solution by detailed analysis. Details are as follows:1. The circular metal rubber was taken as research object, and with analysis of theforming process, this paper proposes a new compression calculation model. In addition to theexisting theory, the formula for the compression load condition was achieved. At the sametime, several circular metal rubber were taken on the compression experiment, and then weobtain groups experimental data. These data could determine the coefficient on equation andverify the accuracy of the equation.2. Static compression and vibration experiments of metal rubber shock absorber werecarried out in this paper. Firstly, the relationship between precompression displacement ofmetal rubber and the shock absorber performance was obtained by the static compression test.Secondly, the certain precompression displacement of metal rubber shock absorber were takenas research object, and with sweeping-frequency vibration test, the amplitude-frequencyCurve was established. Finally, according to the results of the sinusoidal excitation vibrationexperiments under natural frequency, the transmissibility and damping ratio under thisfrequency were obtained. And meanwhile, the way of vibration characteristic by the test-pieceof different parameters were summarized in this paper.3. Based on the experimental data of metal rubber, the feasibility of replacement betweenBLATA-KO model and metal rubber vibration isolator could be proving. Then the dampingisolation impact application effect of metal rubber was analyzed according to the finite element simulation of armored vehicle car falling. It is proved that metal rubber has goodeffect on shock isolation impact aspect in engineering by the analysis of acceleration.4. By the research of preparation technique of metal rubber seals, a series of problem wassolved successfully in the process of manufacture. The working mechanism of metal rubberseals was theoretical research. On this basis,the formula of end face seal was established withthe actual situation. It is important that the formula can give some factors which have aninfluence on the leakage. What’s more, a set of seal test device was designed according to theface seal. And sealing performance of metal rubber seals was obtained by the help of thedevice.
