| The metal rubber material has good mechanical properties and physical properties,it can adapt to certain extreme working conditions in the aerospace field and advanced weapons and equipment.It can solve the corresponding gas sealing problems by applying it to the field of gas sealing.However,there has been no research on the use of metal rubber materials in the field of gas sealing.The theoretical research on gas sealing is also immature.In this paper,the sealing performance of metal rubber seals applied to gas sealing is studied by simulation and test methods.For the sealing system,this paper derives the fluid flow expressions of the incompressible fluid and the compressible fluid between the rough surfaces,and bases on this,this paper deduces gas leakage rate formula between random rough surface.The calculation method for the gas viscosity under different pressure and temperature is deduced.Bases on the Persson contact theory,the calculation method of the leakage gap between random rough surfaces is studied.This paper simplifies the sealing model of metal rubber seals bases on the parallel disk model,and deduces the formula for calculating the leakage rate of gas sealing.Bases on the basic theory of random rough surface simulation,this paper uses MATLAB to simulate the rough surface with different surface topography parameters.The surface morphology features of the metal rubber seal are tested and analyzed by scanning electron microscope and surface profiler.The characteristic parameters of the surface morphology are obtained,and the simulation of the rough surface of the metal rubber seal is realized.Bases on the macroscopic contact model of the metal rubber seal system,this paper analyzes the maximum contact stress value of the leakage contact area under different test conditions by using finite element analysis software,and bases on this,this paper analyzes the distribution of the contact area under different test conditions in the micro contact model of the sealing system,and obtained the critical magnification factor under different working conditions.At the same time,this paper studies the effect of surface morphology parameters on critical magnification and gas leakage rate.The leak rate of the gas sealing of the metal rubber seal under different test conditions is obtained by using the simulation results.According to the performance requirements of the test bench,this paper designs the overall structure and working method of the metal rubber seal gas sealing test bench.The leak detection system is designed bases on the differential pressure leak detection principle,and the calculating method of gas leak rate in test under different working conditions is studied.The test bench is built and it’s performance is debugged.The relationship between the leak rate of the gas sealing of the metal rubber seal and the pressure and temperature is studied through the gas sealing performance test.The test results are compared with the simulation results. |
