In order to speed up the rural construction, Zhejiang Province, as early as in the Outline of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, it proposed the implementation of the action plan of the "beautiful countryside" construction. Subsequently, Hangzhou carry out "beautiful countryside" construction activities in the rural areas, and start the beautiful rural boutique line construction in2012, by improving the rural highway landscape, improve rural highway quality, highlight the theme, in order to improve the living environment of rural residents, and promote the development of rural tourism.The landscape of rural highway is an important part of the beautiful rural construction, it reflects the local political, economic, and cultural development level, is an important manifestation of the spirit of the people and country image. However, since the rural highway landscape did not get the attention of people, or be simply equated with " green "," beautiful ", cause the landscape convergence phenomenon is serious, but also seriously out of line with the rural production and living. Therefore, the rational use of resources, relying on scientific and technological progress, develop design theory of rural highway landscape, to create beautiful, ecological harmony rural road landscape, has a very important significance.Based on the landscape design of highway research theory and achievement of the rural highway, landscape and related concepts of landscape design theory research; analyzes the composition of landscape classification, characteristics of rural highway and explores the landscape promotion;with Lin’an city as an example to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the five main rural highway landscape current situation, analysis landscape construction problems, to solve the problem of summed up the landscape to enhance the objectives and principles, and design the Lin’an rural highway from the theme, cultural resources, road node, plant greening, facilities, to create beautiful, full of local characteristics environment.Rural highway landscape should be given enough attention in the landscape design. In this paper, through the design the rural highway landscape of Lin’an city, to provide a reference for future similar rural highway construction.
