In this kind of high technology and know-how factory construction project, especially projects construction carried out by the private enterprises, there will be many hitherto unknown challenges in project construction process. From the pressure of industry environment and the market, the private enterprises are involved in many complex factors and complexity of management, and settling with many stakeholders. Therefore, the success or failure of the application of modern project management of the whole plant construction or not, has important significance. But, at present, in this kind of project, project managements are only widely applied to building and construction projects, but they have not been well applied in the comprehensive project management aspects.Discussion on Application of project management in copper scrap recycling smelter is in favor of saving construction cost, avoiding the risk, increasing the economic benefits, and to ensure the reasonable and orderly construction of non-ferrous metal smelting business in China. It will play a positive significance in economic benefits and social benefit; it also has an important role to improve construction level of China Nonferrous Metals industry, decrease the energy consumption of copper smelting plant, reduce environment pollution, and further improve our waste copper smelter recovery rate, enhance the ability of resource recycling.From the engineering design unit point of view, the paper studies the project management of decision-making, planning, implementation, control stage, and studies all aspects of the cost, progress, quality, risk management. Through this example of waste recovery of copper smelter construction project of H Company, the study of project management methods that are applied to large private waste recycling copper smelter project in the project management process, the existing problems are analyzed, and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed. |
