With the focus of global economic development tilted towards the service industry, the demand for design of service grows rapidly. The concept of "service design" was proposed by the western design community, which is increasingly drawing attention from designers. Service design advocates to design the service from the customers’point of view, in order to ensure that the user interface of services is usable and useful to customers, and is efficient and innovative to the service providers. Communication and information services as important parts of modern service industry, with the rapid development of mobile Internet, innovative measures must be taken to ensure the success of the telecommunication industry transformation. China Telecom Shanghai company is a traditional telecommunication service provider, which is in demand of service innovation. Analysys International Corporation was commissioned by Shanghai Telecom to launch the projector mobile Internet products innovative research. I joined the project as an analyst.The core philosophy of service Design is to transform the traditional design thinking from "products ahead, services backup", to design service structure from the very beginning, and enrich the body of the specific design according to the process and content of service. Through the study of the value chain of telecommunications industry and the macro environment of mobile Internet, a service dominance design strategy was proposed for Shanghai Telecom. Through benchmarking analysis of Internet enterprise and Telecom operators, the expert interview of Shanghai Telecom, the business judgment in Mobile Internet segments, the innovation direction was determined as the life service platform. Based on user research, we designed a supermarket sales information distribution platform. It solved the problem that the supermarket could marketing in Mobile Internet and that Shanghai Telecom could improve its service quality.
