With the global climate change has become the focus of public concern, the ideaof sustainable development has been infiltrated into all aspects of social productionand life. The shortage of resources and people pay more attention to the problems ofcarbon emissions of architecture environment and related industries have a significanteffect. For this world to take various measures to deal with the carbon emissions,although many aspects of global failed to reach a consensus, however, city residentsare already beginning to feel the impact of climate change. City from the constructionindustry start, to respond to climate change to a force, the construction industry is oneof the big challenges and opportunities. In the construction industry, most of therelevant discussions are concentrated carbon emissions technology, but researchshows that, depending on the existing single building technology and can not reallyachieve energy saving and emission reduction with the ultimate goal of CO2. Modernconstruction is the basic concept of " low energy consumption and high comfort level" perfect combination. Low carbon building has gradually become the mainstreamtrend of international construction industry. Construction of low carbon design ismainly reflected in the solar energy utilization device, wind energy utilization device,geothermal energy utilization device, energy recycling device. According to statistics,every year the energy consumption of building energy consumption in maximum, herecalled the building energy consumption, including people in daily life, such as airconditioning, heating, lighting, cooking, laundry and other energy consumption,especially in daily life to the maximum, materials and equipment for the production ofenergy, construction could only house third. Energy saving measure in building in thefuture will become a quality necessary index. It is understood, European countries inmodern architecture ’s basic philosophy is:" to realize low energy consumption andhigh comfort level " the perfect combination, minimize waste energy and resources.China ’s economic development, the adjustment of industrial structure, transferof industry and city change movement resulted in Central China mid rise strategicnational, and city and sustainable economic development is inseparable from the cityliving environment improvement. At the same time the climate warming is thetwenty-first Century global universal problems, multiple social forces to promote formed under low carbon living in Central China Architecture Design and researchwill inevitably have some academic value and applied value. This article through tothe central China area residential building low carbon design analysis, in the existingenergy-saving emission reduction technology on the basis, in line with the trend ofglobal warming, to achieve a low carbon of residential buildings.This study is divided into three parts, the first part is the background and relatedtheoretical research, the second part for constructing the goal system and designstrategy research, the third part is low carbon design of residential buildingsustainable development promotion and evaluation mechanism research.
