Equipments are the hardware of ship companies, the manufacture is high dependence onthe equipments. How to play the total effectiveness of the equipments well is not only relatedto the manufacture can be carried out orderly and smoothly, but also affecting the operatingcosts of ship companies directly, sometimes the influence is very effective. Especially intoday’s bleak ship market, To promote the optimized reform of the ship equipmentmanagement mode is a problem which ship companies have to consider. This paper, on thebasis of absorbing domestic and foreign related research results, especially during the periodwhen extractive shipbuilding thought had looked so deeply into the human mind under thisnew situation, researched the problems under the mode of extractive shipbuilding thought,combined with the inherent characteristics of ship enterprises, summarized the existingproblems in equipment management of the ship enterprises--L company, Introducedextractive shipbuilding theory and TPM method and researched out the improvementmeasures to the problems.This paper summarizes TPM tools in the application of equipment management, andstudies the present situation of equipment management of the L company. This article takesthe problems on the aspects of equipment use and maintenance, equipment daily management,equipment maintenance as the main starting point, combining with the characteristics ofshipbuilding industry, put forward the solution of the problem-the introduction covers thetheory system of lean production about TPM to improve the L company’s equipmentmanagement, summarizes the characteristics and ways of TPM in equipment management,and compares the based on TPM improvement measures and the difference betweentraditional equipment management, points out the TPM operation difficulty and the keyfactors in the equipment management. In the process of introduction of TPM and leanshipbuilding TPM is summarized in the implementation of equipment management modegradually, designed the main links of the implementation of the process equipmentmanagement, creative use of network-board to tracking control of maintenance schedule,established on the basis of working hours maintenance evaluation system and equipment dailymaintenance of the appraisal system. Among them, the thought of the use, management andmaintenance of the three aspects of the establishment of the evaluation system is introducedand applied in the equipment management to implement TPM one of the key factors. Inaddition, the production department more and more dependent on equipment, equipment andproduction has already been inseparable. To this end, the company from top to bottom to form a consensus, treats equipment like the production to pay attention to, this agreement is anotherkey factor to implement TPM effectively.This thesis will with L company equipment management problems and improvementmeasures are studied as an opportunity to fully implementing equipment TPM, so as to realizethe total efficiency of equipment greatly increased, significantly lower maintenance cost ofequipment, equipment management process more smoothly, greatly enhance theconsciousness of the maintenance and management of the whole, and eventually with leanshipbuilding production trend digest. In this paper, the research plan for other shipbuildingenterprises to improve its equipment management provides reference and reference.
