Nowadays, slip-form construction technology is a main method of silo construction. Because ofthe complex structural form and construction technological characteristics of the silo. In the processof the construction, construction joint is hard to avoid on the structure. The existence of constructionjoints on the structure forms weak layer,which directly influence the shear property and tensileproperty of the structure, as well as the structure’s anti-seismic property and durability. Needless tosay, the construction technology of retained construction joint in the structure will affect thestructures’ stress. But,it is rarely considered construction technology’s influence on the structurewhen structure designning,which make the actual construction of silo structure deviates from theoriginal design structure.This paper studied the Slip-form construction technology that influence stressing of silostructure which supported by wall and pillar. Under storage load we simulated three differentcylinder diameter coal silos by using large finite element software ANSYS. We established three silomodels according to each of the silo diameter which built by Simultaneously-construction method,built by Post-construction method and built by original design structure. Taking the monolithicmodeling in simulation process,we equal parameters of steel and concrete materials and take a layerof soft concrete to simulate the construction joints on the structure,referencing for reliableexperimental data obtained material parameters of soft concrete construction joints. After three siloproject simulation,we get all the structure components of stress and strain that different slip-formconstruction technology construction and original design. Analysising and summarizing the structureinfluence of three different silos from the different slip-form construction technology, we summarizesilo structure influence regulation changing with the cylinder diameters.Through analysis we can conclude that for the same cylinder diameter, Simultaneously-construction method is complex and taking time longer. Post-construction method is simple andshorten time. Simultaneously-construction method has greater influence on the ring beam and thesilo wall stress than the post-construction method. Post-construction method has greater influence onthe end of the support components, floor and coupling beam than the Simultaneously-construction method. For three silo projects, two kinds of silo construction technology influence onthe maximum stress increases with the increasing of the cylinder diameter.Post-construction methodinfluence on the ring beam increases with the increasing of the cylinder diameter. Through research and analysis in this paper, we hope that we can provide certain reference to the future design andconstruction of silo structure.
