Abstract/Summary:
Compared with traditional storage structures, steel silo has many advantages, such as small occupied area, big storage capacity, easy to access, easy to mechanized operations, short construction period etc. With the improvement of China’s steel production, and steel structure itself also has light weight, good seismic performance, convenient construction, has been widely used in all walks of life in China, especially on the storage buildings appeared a large number of steel silo structure, but because of the complex mechanism of silo structure, a study on mechanic performance of its structure has yet to be improved.Steel material mechanical properties of the steel silo wall are studied, and provide the basis on the material parameters of shell unit in the finite element analysis, and according to the code for design of grain steel silos (GB50322-2011) in the different theory method and different kinds of grain granular material, the stress performance of steel silo itself were checked, and by analyzing the same kind of grain granular, numerical value to calculate the Coulomb theory is bigger than the Janssen formula, between the different types of grain bulk, grain storage for wheat calculated values larger than grain storage for corn, and the theoretical calculation to verify the silo structure is safe.This paper uses the real project test of assembled flat steel silos, comparing with theoretical analysis, finite element analysis method to understand the structure and properties of assembly type flat steel silo during normal use, and studies on the internal force distribution of the structure and the stress mechanism when the steel silo is filling and discharging, analysis and theoretical analysis of value is close to the value of measuring static in silos. But for peak detection is the most detrimental to the structure itself, and silo discharging is also bigger than filling peak values. Therefore in the silo structure design, it should be taken full account of this phenomenon and reasonable construction measures, to ensure the reliability of silo structure.At the same time, this paper also uses the finite element analysis software ABAQUS to establish the analysis model of actual steel silo. In the same static load, the stress performance of steel silo through theoretical analysis, experimental test and finite element analysis are closer, and analysis of datum shows that silo structure is still in elastic stage material work and less than the ultimate strength of the material, therefore in the structural design, it can be carried out reasonable optimization design of silo structure.
