| With the increasing global competition, quality has become the key for automotivemanufacturing enterprises to participate in market competition. There are a lot of factorsaffecting the quality of the automotive, such as research and development (R&D) quality, supplier quality, manufacturing quality and quality of service. However, R&D quality is themost important. In order to improve the quality of automotive products, R&D quality mustbe attached great importance. A method for project management based on deliverables is putforward in this thesis. Through controlling the quality of deliverables, the quality of task canbe ensured, and then the quality of product can be guaranteed.First of all, the application status of ISO/TS16949:2002, research status and problemsof project management are studied, and the deficiency of project management technique isanalyzed. Moreover, the disadvantage that the process management is not meticulous ispointed out. All of these show that existing project management technology is not suitablefor automotive R&D.Secondly, the product development process is elaborated with a domestic largeautomobile enterprise as the background, and the present situation of R&D projectmanagement is analyzed, including the characteristic of project and the problems of projectmanagement. On that basis, a method for project management is proposed with projectprocess management as the foundation and the deliverables management as the core.Thirdly, the method of deliverables management is integrated into the software system, and the automotive product R&D project management system is designed. By combing theprocess of R&D project management and analyzing the management requirement, thesystem function model, system structure and data model of the project management systemoriented to automotive product R&D are built. Finally, since PLM has got good implementation and application in most automotiveenterprises, the project management system is developed and implemented in IntePLM.Through the application implementation effect in the enterprise, the availability andpracticability of the project management methodology for automotive product R&D basedon deliverables is verified. |
