| With the development of social economy and people’s living standards, childrenenrollment rate are increasing year by year, which leads to transportation market on childrenrapidly emerged and expanded. However, a variety of school bus accidents occurred one afteranother. The painful consequences repeatedly hut our sensitive nerves and cause that thewhole society pay high attention and have intense discussion on the safety of school buses. Therefore, to carry out a research on the safety evaluation system of school bus, is of greatsignificance on the improvement of the safety performance of school bus, as well as thereduction of the occurrence of traffic accidents. Meanwhile, it can also provide somereferences to choose the school bus appropriate for the school and school bus operators. At present, the common methods of automobile safety evaluation are NCAP and crashsimulation test. Although the NCAP obtain accurate evaluation results of automobile passivesafety, the result is not comprehensive enough to evaluate the overall safety of automobilesbecause these methods ignore other factors that affect vehicle safety performance. This paper collected data and analysis the influence factors of school bus safety at first.Afterwards, through the study on the frontal crash simulation test specification andimplementation method, this paper use target decomposition method to achievethe primary selected index system. After screening and optimizing the evaluation index, theevaluation index system of school bus safety is established. The school bus safety evaluationindex includes quantitative index and qualitative index. According to different datadistribution of the index, suitable standardized methods are used to uniformize andnondimensionalize different index. Then, the paper use the comparative method to calculatethe school bus safety evaluation index weight, which determine the different influencedegrees of each evaluation index about the school bus safety. Next, the school bus safetyevaluation model, which based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, is established with theindex weight. Finally, the paper contrasts two models of school bus safety which have beenused as an engineering example, which validates the scientific, accuracy, feasibility andpracticality of the school bus safety evaluation model. |
