With the rapid development of our economy, the pressure of transport isgrowing under the people’s increasing travel demands. China’s transport system hasalso entered a period of vigorous development. From a single form, it has developedinto today’s modern, pluralistic, networked integrated system. Large-scale integratedtransport hub, the highly focused people is concentrate on relatively closedenvironment. If passengers can not be safely evacuated timely in the event of anaccident is bound to cause serious property damage and heavy casualties. Therefore, the fire prevention design research of the rail transportation hub is of great theoreticaland practical significance.Taking Xi’an north railway station as the object of this study. Xi’an north railwaystation is one of the hub on the Zhengzhou-Xi’an high-speed railway, connecting thewestern and central. It is a set of rail, urban rail, urban road traffic transfer function inone of the large modern transport hub. This building has a large scale, complicatedinternal functions and traffic flow lines. In this paper, by analyzing the firecharacteristic of Xi’an north railway station, building fire safety design and fire safetyperformance. And have researched on its fire emergency facilities during the peak time.Combined with Xi’an north railway station fire emergency plan, and by comparing thedomestic and international fire safety design of large-scale integrated transporthub.Gived the suggestions for Xi’an North Railway Station. And obtain the safetyrequirements of large modern rail traffic hub fire design, provide a theoretical basis forthe fire safety design of the rail transportation hub.
