In recent years, with the continuous development of the domestic railway construction, Extra-long tunnels continued to increase, while the research of the Extra-long railway tunnels is little. According to the characteristics of Xingwangmao tunnel, the development of fire, spread of smoke, fire fighting system, controlling smoke of longitudinal ventilation, evacuation and rescuing in the fire condition are all be studied in this paper.Firstly, different fire scenes in tunnels were simulated by Fire Dynamics Simulator in this paper. Temperature distribution law and smoking spread law were acquired, and the maximum temperature and visibility of the tunnel are both obtained, so as to provide theoretical basis for the evacuation. According to Extra-long railway tunnels fire controlling design principles and design of similar tunnels, hydrant system, aqueous film forming foam system and extinguisher system should be used combined in this tunnel. In side of ventilation and smoke controlling, after consulting the railway tunnels ventilation manage criterion, longitudinal ventilation mode whose exhaust air volume provided by Jet fans,is adopted in this tunnel, and then calculated the required airflow in the fire condition. Lastly, according to extra-long railway tunnels guarding against fire disaster and rescuing principles, two evacuation mode of the train in tunnels after burning are discussed, then main factors of affecting evacuation are analyzed, a series of measures are brought forward.
