With the rapid process of urbanization and modernization, there is a constructionhigh tide of Hui’s new residential houses in Qinghai. Although these new residentialhouses satisfy the demand from the new production and living, there are many problems.For example, firstly, there is a excessive pursuit of function in the layout, especially thenewer and bigger function, secondly, all new residential houses are constructed bymaterials, structure form from the urban residential, and urban standardizationconstruction process, ignoring the local material and structure form, thirdly,appearance of the new residential houses are covered by shop sticks ceramic tile orglass tiles or paint cement mortar, ignoring region and religion and traditionalarchitectural culture.There have been some research on the Hui’s residential houses in existing research,but the most are on traditional residential houses, the research on the architecturalconstruction patterns of new residential houses is very less. The Hui nation of Qinghaiis the one of nation whose population is not only very more, but also whose range is thevery large, and because of their religious beliefs and geographical environment, do ain-depth research which is very necessary on the architectural construction patterns ofHui’s new residential houses in Qinghai under their cultural orientation.Research on architectural construction pattern of Hui’s new residential houses inQinghai under cultural orientation in this paper, is adapt to HongShuiQuan village, andsimilar hui’s region in Qinghai. Hongshuiquan is a hui’s village, that there are richhistorical and cultural heritage, and it’s industry is by the transformation of agriculture and animal husbandry for tourism and animal husbandry. Specific research methods is:first, do a general overview of architectural culture background of Hui’s areas inQinghai, including natural climate, physiognomy characteristics, religious culture, themosque architectural culture, etc., and a general overview of architectural characteristicsof Hui’s traditional residential houses in Qinghai, field survey status quo, problems anddevelopment trend of Hui’s new residential houses in Qinghai; Second, do a in-depthresearch on architectural culture of Hui’s traditional residential houses in Qinghai,From the aspects of material and structure form, collect the architectural experience thatcan inherited and developed, and research its modern application; Then, study andcollect materials and structural forms that Hui’s new residential houses in Qinghaiusually adopted, and combined with the local architectural culture background, study itssuitability of existing foreign materials and structural forms that can be introduced inthe new residential houses, and collect; Finally, under the guidance of the culturalbackground that second chapter got, and technology which regarded as by materials andstructural forms that in chapter three and chapter four studied and collected, accordingto the functional requirements, begin practical and exploratory design to new residentialhouses in Hongshuiquan, and summarize the architectural construction pattern of thenew residential houses to Hongshuiquan in Qinghai.Through the research, this paper get the pattern of new residential housesarchitectural construction to Hongshuiquan in Qinghai, and this pattern can guide newresidential houses architectural construction to Hongshuiquan, as well as guide newresidential houses architectural construction in hui’s village similar to Hongshuiquan,and enrich the research on architectural construction pattern of the Hui’s new residentialhouses in Qinghai under cultural orientation.
