Gantry crane is a material handling tool that can be widely used in various occasions,its key component—metal structure (gantry) is complex and diverse. The design of gantry,related to issue of spatial structure statically indeterminate. And The actual workingcondition of gantry crane is many,with the method of manual design calculation, analysisof large amount of calculation, the design cycle is long. Intense market competition,encourage enterprises to continuously update the design technique for rapid response tomarket demand. At present, finite element method has been widely used in the field ofengineering design, such as the finite element software ANSYS has been generallyadopted in crane design process. This article takes gantry of gantry crane as the object ofstudy, takes the FE model and finite element analysis and parametric design as thetechnological means,with the aid of AWE (ANSYS Workbench Environment) and3Dmodel software UG, has studied the finite element structure analysis, the structurallight-weighting and parametric modeling system of gantry and other contents; Has builtthe finite element mechanical model of gantry, has carried on static structure analysesunder three conditions of gantry, carried on size optimization of the main bearing parts ofthe structure, reduced the weight of structure, finally developed parametric modelingsystem of gantry for enterprise. The paper has mainly conducted the research in followingseveral aspects:1. The paper deliberated the element type crane, load calculation and load, theconditions of gantry crane, model simplifies processing technology of the finite elementmodel of gantry, established a rational finite element model of gantry crane, and finiteelement structural analysis of gantry under the three conditions.2.This thesis taken size optimization of beam2of main load parts ofgantry,reduced the weight of structure, analyzed the effect of several primary structuresizes of box section beam of gantry crane to structure main performance, and givencurve (surface) charts of the changing relationship between them.3. With VC++6.0and secondary development of UG and parametric designtechnologies as development tools, carries on the module division of gantry, developsUG-based3D parameter modeling system of gantry.The content and results of the thesis, is great help to improve design efficiency anddesign quality of gantry crane; facilitate enterprises of different sizes of the same modelin the future design of gantry, will save the costs from now on and improve economicefficiency; Also has brought the convenience for project work of designer of gantry crane,enabling them to have a more abundant time and energy the innovative product andtechnology. |
