Establishing a comprehensive transportation system and coordination mechanism,optimizing the corridor structure and resources, facilitating to form a retional layout,perfect fuction, safe and environmental transportation infrastructure network, are allvery important for the economic and social development of a nation or a district.Planning and budiling the traffic infrastructure, strengthening their connectionsbetween highway, railway and aviation, they have practical significance for thedevelopment of Shaoxing and its surroundings.Based on anaylsis of studies on transportation researches and experiencedomestic and abroad, firstly, this thesis states the present development of Shaoxingand developing plan, and studies the transportation system, and then analyzes thetransportation development strategy. Secondly, from all aspects, it analyzes the trafficneeds and transportation forecasting. Thirdly, based on researches above, this thesisproposes the transportation planning goal and plan, and puts forwards the “BigShipping”,“Big Network”,“Big Railway”, and “Big Logistics” transportation system,which is adapt to city development of Shaoxing comprehensively, and also proposesthe corresponding facilities and measures. Finally, this thesis states securty measuresfor the transportation system, which could provide solid basis for the city constructionand the economic development for Shaoxing.In conlusion, this thesis could help optimize the development of Shaoxing,promote the layout, configuration and function of transportation system more rational,efficient and comprehensive, in order to improve the efficiency and provide aimportatant conference for Shaoxing to construte a modern and comprehensivetransportation system.
