Abstract/Summary:
Traffic flow operating condition of the road network is the consequence of the interaction between traffic demand structure and road network structure. Traffic demand is the source of traffic generated, the basis of the transport system running. Road network supports the operation of traffic flow and is the safeguard of the transport system running. So, starting from the interaction mechanism between traffic spatial demands’structure and road traffic flow and using the coupled model and method to obtain the bi-directional equilization between urban traffic flow and traffic demand volume not only is the most effective method to solve urban traffic congestion but also can fully embody the integrated concept of land use and transportation.Judging from the interactive relationship between land use and transportation system, traffic demand played an important role of band to link the two effectively. Therefore, starting with the source of urban traffic generated-traffic demand, this paper brings in the concept of urban traffic spatial demands, dissects the interactive relationship between urban traffic spatial demands, land utilization and traffic system at the basis of comprehensive and systematic analysis of traffic spatial demands’ structure and proposes coordinated development direction of Urban land using and transport system integrating.And then this paper constructs the transport demand function which can reflects transport users’ travel behavior, sets up the coupled model between traffic demands and road networks with this function and equilibrium principle, and presents a series of equilibrium methods to configurat urban traffic spatial demands and integrated transport network. At last builds a experimental transportation network and tests the feasibility, practicality, rationality of this model and method by carrying double-balanced matching and analysis of traffic spatial demands and transport network integrating on to the network.This set of models and methods can achieve supply and demand equilibrium of traffic demand and transport network at the same time and the user equilibrium of traffic network itself.And it have important theoretical and practical significance to urban land use and transport system integrate planning and the coordinated development of urban and transportation’s promoting.
