The Study On Urban Spatial Development Of Yujia New Town

Since the reform and opening up, it appears a rapid trend of the growth of urbanspace all over the country with the advance of urban industrialization and urbanization.In recent years, with the thought of ecological civilization and sustainable development,some issues have becoming more and more concerned. For example, how to solve thevarious problems brought by the rapid growth of cities, how to ensure the progress ofeconomic and society without destroying the environment and how to continue theregional characteristics while expanding the city.The study of "city space development" mainly includes two aspects: firstly, theprogress of the development of urban space should be sustainable; it means that wemust ensure ecological stability, economic growth and social equality; secondly, thedevelopment of urban space should be consistent with the rules of the system itself.Based on these two requirements, this article attempts from "space" and "people" twokinds of main body,"regional" and "ecological" two perspective, to explore asynthetical method which includes ecological security, social and economic laws andspiritual needs, intending to make the urban space have a reasonable growth.This thesis mainly focuses on spatial development and human needs these twoclues which are based on the relationship of development between Yu Jia Metro andJiaXian (old town). Specific ideas as follows: based on the research of the developmentof small city space in the Loess Plateau of Northern Shaanxi Province especially inYuLin and the summary and analysis at home and abroad, constructing a reasonableframework of urban space. After that, the thesis will do some authentic proof on Yu JiaMetro: firstly, as the Spatial Development clue, based on the course of spatialdevelopment of JiaXian county, the course of various systems and the basis of the trend of overall development, we will provide a basis for new research of Yu Jia Metro bysummarizing characteristics and problems of its development and analyzing the root;secondly, as the Human Needs clue, judge the indexes of spatial development byanalyzing the relationship between all spatial elements and overall process ofdevelopment, then, on the basis of social survey, find out the needs and expectations ofthe future development, after judging again, fix the evaluation index of core elements ofspatial development; by the previous analysis, establish a comprehensive model of coreindexes by using GIS, have a land evaluation of Yu Jia Metro and ascertain landsuitability of its development to provide a reliable technical basis; finally, distribute theproportion of land use and the total structure by scientific concept of dynamic layout toget the layout scheme. At the end of the thesis, the author gives a systematic summaryand puts forward several thoughts to enrich the analysis and research process, makingurban construction more effective ultimately.Yu Jia Metro must break the traditional way of the urban development at this stage,building an equilibrium pattern between urban functions and structure, building along-term goal in accordance with the urban development and growing, suitable spatialstructure. Yu Jia Metro will be not only the "growth point" of its social economy butalso the "growing point" of the development of urban space. In addition, the thesis hasdone healthy and reasonable research on its development so as to drive the developmentof JiaXian even the southern six counties by the way of unbalanced development model.
