Abstract/Summary:
Objective: China gets80%of its electricity from coal. As the world’s largest coalproduction and consumption country, each year about1.3billion tons of coal resourceis used as the energy consumption. Coal power is a double-edged sword, which givesyou energy but also cause pollution. It produces a large amount of fly ash and otherindustrial wastes. The tragedy is that the environmental pollution could be deadly. Inrecent years, along with the “West Power to East” national policy, so many powerplants are building in west China. China’s coal-fired power plants emissions more than200million tons of fly ash each year. The emissions caused serious soil pollution,atmospheric pollution and water pollution, and take up a lot of land resources. It mayultimately influence people’s health and the sustainable development strategy in21stcentury. So find an effective way to utilize and consumption fly ash, and even generateimmense economic value, is particularly eager.There are some plants in Guizhou province is near a few under or plan toconstruction highway. If the mass of fly ash is used in the highway subgradeconstruction will be the most convenient and effective method to eliminating the aboveconflict. Therefore, carry out the study “The Research of Construction Technology andQuality Control Method on Embankment Building with Fly Ash in Guizhou MountainArea” is full of considerable theoretical and practical significance.Method: this study is based on the Guizhou province transportation hall of scienceand technology projects “the research of fly ash comprehensive utilization technologyin Guizhou highway road”. Aim at the research of fly ash subgrade constructiontechnology and quality control methods, so the study clue is establishing indoorexperiment data, theoretical modeling analysis and the late test feedback. The studymethod is through research the interconnected relations and argument of the threeupper parts. The following work is carrying out:①The paper investigated power plant distribution along expressway built or to bebuilt in guizhou,and on the basis,reseached the physical&chemical properties andengineering properties about road of fly ash.②The paper reseached the typical structure form of the fly ash, put forward fly ashembankment typical sections by the stability analysis of embankment with finite element software PLAXIS,and analyzed the points of fly ash embankment`s drainageand the improvements of fly ash embankment stability when using geogrid.③Through fly ash subgrade construction technology practical engineering,combining with theoretical analysis, and deeply exploring quality control method toachieve the combination of practice and theory.Result: Through strictly construction technology check and the quality control, the flyash embankment is more superior performance than the ordinary soil subgrade.Discussion: The study provide heretical and practical technologies support inguizhou mountain fly ash embankment construction,and even more it could providemountain fly-ash subgrade construction application guide in China.
