As the horn of the west regions development sounded, the western area baseconstruction pace become faster and faster, highway is also became more and more in thisarea. A large number of highway construction is inevitable to through some looseaccumulation layer, And these poor loose accumulation layer area will make the roadbedconstruction face greater technical difficult problem, and it will be inevitable to causeembankment disease.This paper research G42Shanghai-Chengdu highway Chongqing for typical case,combined with the characteristics of the mountainous area highway in the southwest,focus on the loose accumulation layer embankment construction technology, based on insummary previous research, carrying out the engineering study,field exploration and test,then systematically analyzing the engineering properties and physical properties of looseaccumulation layer; using numerical analysis software simulation analyses themountainous southwest loose accumulation layer excavated slope stability technology,verification the results through the field test, gain the instability failure mode andinstability mechanism of the loose accumulation layer, evaluate the stability under variousfactors influence;Combined with the characteristics of stained slope, based on the designof reinforcement to prevent, put forward the stained slope reinforcement design method inthis paper, then using the method to directing G42Shanghai-Chengdu highwayChongqing embankment engineering construction and ensure the construction quality andthe long-term stability of the operation.The research result of this paper provides technical reference to highwayembankment construction in the mountainous of the southwest complex geologicalconditions.
