Mucky soft soil is one of many types of soft soil.Mucky soft soil has the general characteristics of soft soil,such as higher water content,lower strength and slow consolidation speed.In addition,it also has rheological and thixotropic properties.These characteristics lead to the large settlement of the embankment foundation on the muddy soil layer,which easily causes slope instability,low safety,and affects the normal operation of the embankment.Therefore,it is necessary to study the instability mechanism and strengthening method of the silt soil embankment.In the past scientific research and engineering practice,the research on the instability mechanism and reinforcement technology of silty soil embankments has not been completed.In today’s society,science and technology are developing rapidly,and researchers use consolidation theory as the basis and use computer finite element simulation to perform instability analysis in order to obtain more accurate safety factors.In the silt soil embankment reinforcement scheme,it is of great engineering significance to reasonably use effective calculation parameters,calculation models and simulation software to analyze the scheme.Relying on the Shijiu section of the Qingying River flood diversion project in Anhui,this paper studies the existing typical settlement analysis methods and slope stability analysis methods for the engineering characteristics of silt soil embankments in Wuhu,Anhui,and uses the finite element analysis software Abaqus conducts settlement analysis and slope stability analysis of silty soil dykes.The specific work carried out in this article is as follows:(1)Read the literature and summarize the research status of slope stability,settlement analysis,and preloading of drainage plates at home and abroad;(2)Study the principle of the strength reduction method and implement the strength reduction method in ABAQUS;(3)Discuss the reinforcement mechanism of plastic drainage board piled preloading method in soft soil foundation and the calculation method of embankment slope settlement;(4)Using Abaqus finite element software and Mohr-Coloumb model as the silt soil constitutive model,the slope stability and settlement analysis of the Shijiu section of the Qingyu River flood diversion road were carried out.Feasibility in foundations and slopes.
